There is a gentle but powerful belief shared across QSI classrooms:

Every child can learn, just not at the same pace.

We once had a Grade 5 student who struggled with fractions in math.

我们曾有一位五年级学生,在数学的“分数”单元卡住了。


In a traditional system, this might mean the unit ends, the test is taken, and the grade is final.

But under Mastery Learning, the story didn’t end there.
